GEMMA - ITALIAN restaurant design
The restaurant design is based on the Italian cuisine concept: simple, happy, & high-quality produce.
Using primary & natural materials such as concrete, stone, wood, & iron strengthens the concept.
During construction, a brick wall was exposed and painted snow-white.
The monochromatic space is painted with murals by local artists - changing exhibitions.
The central seating areas are shared & create a unique & joyful atmosphere.
The kitchen is open to the central seating area, & a pizza oven has been set up, the flame visible to all who enter the restaurant.
All the tables were built from reclaimed wood, & all the chairs are second-hand, refurbished, & painted in monochromatic tones.
