Minna Tomei - Asian restaurant design

The restaurant's menu is based on Japanese, Thai, Korean,  Vietnamese & Indian cuisine.

Michael Haiblum, the designer, presented to the customer several design concepts.

The chosen concept was: ” The Asian Market. “.

Materials & elements  used :

Rough exposed concrete floor.

Vertical green wall plants.

Open kitchen - the woks flames take part of the atmosphere.

Wood panels disassembled from used wood pallets & reassembled as benches, tables, cabinets & wall paneling.

Black & grey painted Steel Rectangle Tubes with different measurements were welded to a complex shelving structure.

The exposed ceiling is black with second-hand industrialized elements suspended by steel cables.

Buddha graffiti on concrete wall tiles – halo LED lighting gives the effect of motion.

These elements create a unique & exciting space that contributes significantly to restaurant success.

Michael Haiblum used sustainable motifs such as biophilia, reclaimed wood, second-hand light fixtures & natural materials.
